I needed to get a safe for important documents. And this fit the bill.
It looks sturdy enough and comes with simple but effective looking mounting methods it has enough room to put documents in it, or valuables. It has a nice and easy to see keypad as well as keys. The locking mechanism is easy and smooth to operate with little play in the closed configuration.
Resetting the pass code is easy as well.
It features a options to mount it so that it can be as secure as possible.
I am unsure as how fire safe this safe is however. As it does not have any insulation on the inside not that that cannot be added cheap enough, some fire brick or fire wool would be sufficient.

I needed something that I could store things that are important to me, and have them be locked up. So, this locking safe box was perfect for what I needed it for.
This is a very nice quality safe, made in a sturdy and durable build; it’s quite heavy-duty, but easy for me to move. There’s enough room to put some important papers, valuables, and other important items. I like that there’s a locking keypad, as well as keys, to keep things safe.
The keypad is easy to set up, and put in my own combination. It’s also easy to change the combination on the keypad, if need be.
I really like this safe and find it to be very nice to store my important things inside of; it’s a great thing to have for safety reasons. I’m not sure if it is fireproof; however, there are ways of making a safe fireproof (if I need to do it myself). I think this is a very nice product, and for a great value (in my personal opinion and experiences). Very nice!

I’m taking off 2 stars from an otherwise good product because the instructions are so poor. I don’t know why a company will spend thousands and thousands of dollars developing a product and packaging and then almost ignore the instructions — which are the end user’s first experience with a product. First thing I was wondering when I opened the door to the safe: ‘hey, there’s a second battery compartment inside the door, what’s that for?’. Looking at the instructions, no mentions of it (I had to research to discover it was a backup in case the primary set of batteries failed… nice feature but why not tell the user that? Second, the instructions talk about setting personal and management passwords, but don’t explain the difference between the two, or why there are two. (Presumably a management password will override and reset a personal password but that’s just my guess. And I’d rather not have 2 passwords!) That said, the safe itself works, no complains except the horrible instructions, especially for the price.

This safe resembles those typically found in hotel rooms and cruise ship cabins. It has several useful features, including keys for access in case you forget your password or if the batteries die. Fortunately, there is also a set of backup batteries to prevent this issue. Additionally, an alarm will sound if the incorrect password is entered too many times. While the instructions mention that the alarm will activate if the safe is struck with a heavy object, I chose not to test this out to avoid damaging the paint.
The safe comes with holes in the back and bottom for wall or floor mounting, along with sturdy screws and anchors. The two locking bolts are large and robust.
I rated this safe four stars instead of five for a few reasons: [1] the instructions are vague and do not mention the backup battery door or feature, [2] although the website states there is an extra shelf, it is not included with the product, and [3] the website describes the safe as fire resistant, but the instructions lack details about the duration and temperature of this protection.

Okay so I’ve tested a couple of these safes in the past most of them a teenager could open with a screwdriver and a hammer, but not with this safe! This one’s got some actual real weight to it. Both my wife and I love the color it’s actually her is the one that’s using it for her prescription medication and to lock up her firearm when the grandkids come over. She absolutely loves it she loves that it has the keypad and a key option. I’d say my only nitpick with it is you have to remove the batteries to get to the lock. Not enough to remove a star by any means. The safe can be bolted to the floor and I’m almost positive it came with the hardware to do that it also came with four grips that go on each of the bottom corners. I don’t know if you take the batteries out to get to the key slot if it resets the code I will have to ask my wife an update later but if you’re using the key that means you’re probably forgot the code anyway. Ample room inside for a compact 9 mm some petty cash and some prescription medication bottles and some documents. Definitely well worth the money it’s a solid piece of equipment! I highly recommend the safe to anyone thinking about buying it. Thanks for taking the time to read my review

This compact and sturdy safe, made of solid steel with two live locking door bolts, may surprise you with its capacity. Despite its small size, it can hold quite a bit of your valuables, possibly even more if it had a shelf.
It comes with instructions and mounting hardware for extra secure wall or floor installation. I personally found it the perfect size for shelving above my clothing in the closet.
Accessing your valuables is easy with a programmable keypad. In case you forget the password, there are two emergency keys to help you open the safe. The alarm system alerts you in case of repeated incorrect password entries or vibrations from forced access.
The instructions were bad. No explanation for features. An example, it did not mention that you need 8 batteries- a set of 4 for the keypad and another set behind the door (don’t know why). I also do have an issue with the plastic cover over the keypad and the battery compartment behind the door. They both are a bit flimsy.
Overall, this is a not a bad investment for protecting your small valuables. I wish it had a shelf, though. Recommended.

easy to use and come with simple directions. Takes batteries on both the outside as well as the inside for the code use on this safe. It comes with a material to put on the bottom of the safe as well as screws to mount on the wall or floor if needed. There is also a set of keys in case the batteries go out and is pretty sturdy. It is not very big, but good enough to lock up very important documents.

I have need for a few different small personal safes (I keep different things secured separately in my home), so I decided to give this one a try. It was easy to set up and create my own passcode. I liked that the lock to use the key in emergencies with was ‘hidden’ behind the batteries. I also liked that the batteries were on the outside so if they run down and I don’t catch it, I can simply replace them and keep using as usual. This safe isn’t super heavy but was easy to set up and install (with the installation hardware included) into a secure location in my home. I was able to keep more than a few important things safe and secure. I did not test the fireproof rating yet, and hope never to have to, but the design and construction of this safe tells me that what’s inside will stay there until I let it out. I strongly feel that everyone should have a safe for important documents, family pictures or firearms and related items.
